Milsoms in Dedham, Colchester, our original concept for 'eat drink stay' is a buzzing, lively brasserie with 80 covers inside with a further 80 outside.  The brasserie is open all day, every day with a no booking policy and the kitchen are looking for a full time breakfast chef to join their busy team.

  • The ideal candidate will be a vibrant early morning person who can work alone, but then support the team by helping to prep for a busy lunch service
  • Hours 6am to 2pm 5 days a week

Hotel Manager at Maison Talbooth in Dedham

Maison Talbooth are looking for a Hotel Manager to cover Maternity Leave for one year. The successful candidate will work alongside the current House Manager and Food & Beverage Manager. While some hospitality experience is essential managerial experience is not, which makes this a great opportunity for anyone wanting to progress in the industry. Maison Talbooth is a 12 bedroom hotel with a day spa but often is taken over for events and exclusive use. The role is varied and no two days are the same. Milsom Hotels & Restaurants have four other businesses in North Essex and Suffolk so there is always the chance of progression in other parts of the group when the year is finished.

Full time assistant restaurant manager, Le Talbooth in Dedham

Le Talbooth is an award winning restaurant with three AA rosettes.  Situated beside the River Stour in Dedham; it is justifiably the flagship of Milsom Hotels & Restaurants.  The restaurant is busy all year round with lunch and dinner guests as well as weddings, events and parties in the River Room.  Le Talbooth are looking for a full time Assistant Restaurant Manager.

  • Proven experience in a food and beverage role
  • To help manage the front of house team and ensure excellent restaurant service
  • Leading by example, creating a team effort and keep training in all areas up to date
  • To have a ‘can do’ attitude and always looking to improve on the service that is offered, working directly with the Restaurant Manager
  • To ensure the private dining room is managed at all times
  • Shift Work including weekends
