Milsoms opened its brand new Kitchen in March 2023 with all the latest brand new equipment, and so have the perfect environment for an enthusiastic senior sous chef to further their skills and assist in leading the brigade. Permanent position -5 days a week including weekends Pay – £36,000 per annum plus equal share of tips (Around £4k per annum) Key responsibilities in the kitchen:

• To assist the head chef in leading our team of chefs
• To prepare and cook our menu as per the recipes to a high standard
• Manage daily ordering of fresh ingredients required for all dishes
• Receiving and checking off deliveries daily
• Creating dishes for our specials menu
• To assist the head chef in creating new dishes for tasing along with costings
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace as well as following food handling, storage and sanitation practises at all time
• Knowledge of a variety of ingredients and ability to cook at a high level

Requirements

• Atleast NVQ level 2 in Food production and cooking or equivalent
• At least 5 years cooking experience in a high standard busy kitchen in a senior position
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and dish creation
• Excellent communication
• To be enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable
• Own transport essential
